SROI training fundamentals
Learning Social value projects aim to improve wellbeing by pursuing social, environmental, and economic goals.
Social value is regarded as positive experiences and changes that our society strives for.
Social value projects aim to improve wellbeing by pursuing social, environmental, and economic goals.
The aim of the social value analysis is to identify and measure the impact of the project on stakeholders transparently and empirically.
Since projects and interventions that aim to increase social value are very different, the impact models must therefore also be developed differently.
Module 4 described how to empirically verify a project’s impacts by using qualitative methods. The next step in social value measurement is to quantify the identified effects.
The focus of social value analysis is comparing a project’s impacts in monetary terms to financial input.
Social value analysis makes a social impact “tangible” and “controllable.” Accordingly, there are various ways to use the results of social value analysis.
1) Inhouse trainings
Based on our experience on social impact analysis and SROI we offer tailor made in-house trainings. They range from a half day overview workshop to an intensive week on impact analysis. In the workshops lasting several days, theoretical input is given and we work on a case study fitting to your company. Furthermore, we offer presentations of individual case studies with the possibility to discuss the analysis approach.
2) Individual consulting
If you want to focus more on social impact in your company, we offer individual advice. For example, we can support you in setting up an impact model, developing an impact strategy or implementing impact-based controlling. We can also check your impact reports for improvements or check the approach in the case of planned impact surveys. We would be happy to make an individual offer for you.
